Pioneers Organisational Design Sprint:

Develop an agile organisational structure

Too many employees have no customer contact and no idea who the customer is and what makes them “tick”? Functional silos prevent cross-functional cooperation along the value creation processes? Bureaucratic processes prevent a quick response to change? Chaotic matrix structures lead to constant priority conflicts and self-occupation? Employees and managers are searching for their new role? No one believes they can still make a difference?

Then you probably need a different organisational model that enables better cooperation for the customer. This could be a new structural cut, a process solution or a new leadership organisation.

With the Pioneers Organisational Design Sprint, we work with you to build the organisational model that is suitable and sustainable for you and your organisation. Our process is applicable for individual areas of a company as well as for the entire company. And it follows the agile values and principles.

The six phases of the Pioneers Organisational Design Sprint:

Phase 1: Basics of agile organisational structures

Here we introduce the topic of agility, our Pioneers Trafo-ModellTM and in particular present different organisational models and structures at different levels of maturity for inspiration.

Phase 2: Generating ideas for prototypes

This phase is about developing a common understanding of the customer and possible organisational variables that you could align the organisation with.

Phase 3: Development of first prototypes

Now we roll up our sleeves and develop various structural prototypes. For this we give you a scheme to fill in, but it is so flexible that you can think differently at any time.

Phase 4: Review of the prototypes

Now you get feedback on your prototypes and adjust them. Ideally, you should also consolidate the prototypes so that, in the best case, you only work with one prototype from now on.

Phase 5: Designing the prototype

Now we go through the other dimensions of Pioneers Trafo-ModellsTM and see how they need to be shaped to bring the prototype to life.

Phase 6: Implementation of the prototypes

Now the final decision for the implementation of the prototype takes place and we add further change management topics to our parallel Transformation Backlog. From now on, the prototype goes into implementation with the first teams. It is permanently developed further through continuous retrospectives.

Depending on the scale, the process takes a few days, spread over a few weeks, or several sprints, spread over a few months. The advantage is that due to the high level of participation, part of the change management already happens in parallel.
