ABOUT MICHAEL TERSTESSE
After completing his studies in media computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen, Michael initially concentrated on project management, online marketing and the design of websites at various online agencies. Later, he set up the new business division “Performance Marketing” on the agency side. As a team leader in project management he realized numerous large e-commerce projects for different retailers and premium brands at the Cologne digital agency d-SIRE. As Management Supervisor, he has been responsible for overseeing agency management at d-SIRE and, as Interim Manager, headed the user experience team of the perfumery Douglas. Thus, he brings with him many years of leadership experience from various digital agencies. For him, trust and an orientation towards meaning are the foundation of good leadership.
Due to the significantly increased complexity, he has strongly promoted agility on the agency side in recent years. In order to be able to fulfill the role of the Agile Coach holistically, he has decided to go on to become a Systemic Business Coach. As a dedicated lateral thinker with agile passion and conviction, the values of courage, focus and collaboration are particularly important to him. Michael is an avid networker and a regular visitor to various Meetups (Scrumtable, Kanban, New Work, intrinsify.me, UX, CX).
Since 2018, Michael has joined the HR Pioneers team as an Agile Management Consultant. Seeing himself as an initiator and coach, he accompanies executives and teams in dealing with increasing complexity on their way to more agility and effectiveness. Meanwhile, his focus is always on the human being. Michael is keen to be open to other perspectives and to always focus on solving real customer problems.
